Movida!After sunset, the movida begins in the vicoli (alleys). Young people meet up in the bars and squares of the old town. The most frequented zone is the one between Porta Soprana, Piazza delle Erbe, Stradone Sant’Agostino and Via San Bernardo.
The offer is wide and all-embracing. There are bars with hi-tech furnishings and very loud music then there are lounge bars with refined atmospheres. To relax in front of a good glass of wine you can choose a wine-bar-bookshop. All of this in places full of history in medieval palaces.
The most famous restaurant in Genoa is probably Zeffirino, in Via XX Settembre. Here you can try dishes from the Genoese traditions and those of the best Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming. Zeffirino’s cooking is famous throughout the world. The brand has even arrived in Portofino, Los Angeles and Hong Kong.
