Spianata Castelletto is a fantastic panoramic point. You arrive with a lift leaving from Piazza Portello, right behind Via Garibaldi. The view takes in the port and the Historical Centre. You literally have the city at your feet.
For a walk hand in hand, there is nothing better than the promenade in Nervi. The path winds along a rocky precipice overlooking the sea. Behind the promenade there are the parks of Nervi. They are famous for their lawns and for the squirrels that live in the trees. Don’t miss the romantic rose garden.
For a romantic dinner, you could choose the restaurants in Corso Italia, Genoa’s seaside promenade. But even more picturesque is the bay of Boccadasse. This is a small fishing village left trapped in the city. Its poetry remains intact.
